About the Teach4SDGs Programme
The Teach4SDGs initiative aims to enrich primary and secondary teachers' understanding of the 17 SDGs and their specific targets. The training encompasses crucial areas such as Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), Climate Change, Environmental Sustainability, Green Economy, Circular Economy and Sustainable Waste Management, alongside essential skills like Project Management and Technology Innovation for educators.

Eligibility Criteria
This programme is open to:
- All primary and secondary school teachers in public and private schools across Sub-Saharan African countries.
- Individuals who can commit at least 4 hours over two days each week for the duration of the training.
- Educators aged between 20 – 45 years.
- Those available to partake in virtual training and to conduct SDG activation projects in their schools.
- Teachers interested in becoming development and transformation agents, promoting student learning about the SDGs.
- Applicants are not required to have prior knowledge of the SDGs 2030.
