Trinity University Gets Full NUC Accreditation for 8 Programmes

Trinity University, one of Nigeria’s leading universities, has achieved another milestone with the full accreditation of eight programmes by the National University Commission (NUC) in 2022. The achievement is a testament to the institution’s dedication to providing quality education and the hard work of its Council, Board of Trustees, management, staff, and students.

The Accreditation Process:

The accreditation panels from the NUC visited Trinity University’s campus in November and December 2022 to assess the eight programmes submitted for accreditation. After a thorough evaluation, the NUC found that all the programmes met the required standards, leading to their full accreditation.

In a statement by John Ashibuogwu, Head of Media and Publicity, he thanked the parents for their continued trust in the institution and acknowledged the role played by various stakeholders in making this achievement possible.

Previous Accreditations:

Before this recent accreditation, Trinity University had already received full accreditation for four other programmes, including Computer Science, Information Technology, Microbiology, and Mass Communication. This further strengthens the institution’s reputation for academic excellence.

The Newly Accredited Programmes:

The eight newly accredited courses at Trinity University include:

1. Nursing Science
2. Medical Laboratory Science
3. Business Administration
4. Accounting
5. Economics
6. Political Science
7. International Relations
8. Marketing

These programmes will provide students with a diverse range of educational opportunities and career paths.
