A fake message claims to be about student profile (Bio-Data) updates. It was traced to an individual named Usman K Usman, who is not affiliated with the university.

• UMYU does not ask students to submit personal information such as:
  • Phone numbers
  • Email addresses
  • Next of kin details
• Any request for these details from unofficial sources should be ignored.
• Always use official university platforms for all registration and academic updates.

• Students and the public should stay alert and report any suspicious messages.
• Fraudulent activities should be reported to the appropriate authorities.
