UNIABUJA Postgraduate Admission Form 2025/2026

The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) is now taking applications for postgraduate study for the 2025/2026 session. The form covers Postgraduate Diploma, Master’s, and PhD routes in many fields. Entry rules, fees, and steps are set by the School of Postgraduate Studies. Students should use the official links below to see course lists and to start the form online.

Entry requirements

General rules

• Five credits, including English and Mathematics, in WASC, NECO, or GCE, in no more than two sittings.
• For Master’s: a Bachelor’s degree with at least second-class lower.
• For PhD: a Master’s degree with a minimum weighted average of 60% (Grade B).
• For PGD: a third-class degree or HND with lower credit.

Programme-specific notes

• MPH Community Medicine: MBBS or BDS.
• MPH Sexual and Reproductive Health: health-related degrees.
• PhD: a 500-word research proposal.

University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) application steps

1. Go to the UNIABUJA application portal.
2. Pick Postgraduate and fill in surname, first name, email, and phone number.
3. Generate the RRR and pay the ₦20,500 fee via REMITA.
4. Return to the portal and complete the form.
5. Upload needed files, including the Transcript Request Form (Form A2), found on the portal.

Use the University portal for all REMITA payments so records stay correct. Attach proof that Form A2 has been processed when you submit.

Transcript submission

• Send an electronic copy to SPGS@uniabuja.edu.ng.
• Post hard copies to:
  The Secretary,
  School of Postgraduate Studies,
  University of Abuja,
  P.M.B. 117, Abuja.

Fees

• Application fee: ₦20,500 (non-refundable), payable on REMITA.

Deadline

• Closing date for registration: Tuesday, 30 December 2025.
