UNIABUJA Remedial Admission Form 2025/2026

The University of Abuja has rolled out the entry notice for its one-year Remedial Science programme. This offer comes under the School of Advanced Basic and Remedial Studies and runs for the full 2025/2026 academic year. For many students, it is like a second chance to bridge gaps and step firmly into a science-based degree path.

Admission Requirements For UNIABUJA Remedial Admission

To be considered, each candidate must have credit passes in the following subjects:

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Biology or Agricultural Science
• English Language
• Mathematics

These credits may be from GCE, WAEC, NECO/SSCE or NABTEB. Missing one means no admission.

Programme Duration And Conditions

The programme is fixed for one session only, covering two semesters of intensive classes. Candidates must sit for the remedial exams, meet the cut-off in UTME, register for the post-UTME and still hold the right entry subjects for their chosen science degree. It is no walk in the park, but steady effort pays.

How To Apply For UNIABUJA Remedial Admission

The process is fully online. Applicants are to:

• Visit the University of Abuja portal
• Select "new application" and choose "Remedial"
• Fill in details and pay ₦15,000 only through the platform
• Keep the RRR number safe for reference
• On payment, a form number is generated, which serves as login ID
• Complete the online form, print it and attach needed documents

The contact email and phone details entered must be valid. Many have missed updates simply because their email was inactive.

Documents To Be Submitted

Applicants must print and return their completed forms with:

• Indigene Certificate
• Birth Certificate
• O'Level results or certificate
• Medical Certificate of fitness

Important Notes

• The application fee is non-refundable, so think carefully before payment.
• For payment problems, contact the Directorate of Information Technology, Management Services (ITMS). Do not hand money to unauthorised persons, it ends in tears.
• The admission status can be checked on the University portal using the form number as username and surname as password.
