The University of Abuja is accepting applications for the 2025 Contact Session.

Qualified candidates can apply for the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) and Master of Education (MEd) programmes.

MEd Programmes

Sandwich Programmes

• MEd Curriculum Studies
• MEd Educational Administration and Planning
• MEd Guidance and Counselling
• MEd Social Studies Education

Duration: 24 months

Part-Time Programmes

• MEd Educational Psychology
• MEd Language Education
• MEd Science Education

Duration: 30 months

Admission Requirements for MEd

Candidates must have:

• Five O’ level credits, including English and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant education field with at least a Second-Class Lower Division.
• A first degree in any discipline plus a PGDE from a recognised institution.

Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)

Mode: Part-Time
Duration: 18 months
Requirement: First Degree or HND in a teaching subject.

How to Apply

Applications must be completed online through the University of Abuja Admission Portal.

The fee for application is ₦25,000, payable online.

The deadline for application submission is Friday, 30th May 2025.
