UNILAG postgraduate matriculation 2026 venue change

The School of Postgraduate Studies, University of Lagos (UNILAG), has announced a change of venue for its 2026 matriculation ceremony. The School says the event will no longer hold at the earlier location; it will now take place at the Prof. Nurudeen Alao Auditorium, Distance Learning Institute (DLI), UNILAG.

The update is strictly about location; all other event details remain unchanged.

New venue for the ceremony

UNILAG Postgraduate School states that the matriculation will now hold at:

• Prof. Nurudeen Alao Auditorium
• Distance Learning Institute (DLI), UNILAG

Students should head straight to the DLI for the ceremony; that is the only change announced.

Matriculation date and time (unchanged)

The matriculation ceremony is scheduled to hold:

• Date: Monday, 2 Feb 2026
• Time: 10:00 a.m.

Instruction for matriculating students

Matriculating students are advised to take note of the venue change and attend punctually. Showing up late can mean missed directions; new students are expected to keep time and sit where officials direct.
