UNILAG and Russian University Sign Academic MoU
University of Lagos (UNILAG) and State University of Education in Moscow, Russia, have entered into a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) fostering the exchange of faculty, students, collaborative research activities, and the development of joint educational programmes. The agreement, signed on June 26, 2023, also includes the establishment of a Centre for Open Education in Russian at UNILAG.

The official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Monday, June 26, 2023, marking the start of an anticipated era of academic growth and mutual cooperation.
Sealing the Agreement
The significant event took place in the office of UNILAG’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academics & Research), Professor Bolanle Oboh. Professor Bola Oboh and Dr. Kulikov Dmitry, Rector for Science at the State University of Education, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective universities. The presence of key faculty members from both universities signified the importance of this MoU and the mutual commitment to its successful implementation.

Under this agreement, both universities have committed to promoting mutual development in several areas of activity. These include:
