UNIOSUN 14th Convocation Ceremony: Full Schedule of Events

The Osun State University (UNIOSUN) 14th Convocation Ceremony is set to take place from Friday, 13th to Saturday, 21st September 2024.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Odunayo Clement Adebooye, invites the public to join the series of events celebrating the achievements of the University.

This grand event will honour graduates from various faculties and celebrate academic accomplishments.

Friday, 13th September

• Pre-Convocation Press Conference at the Multipurpose Hall, Osogbo, 10:00 a.m.
• Jumat Service at the University Mosque, 1:00 p.m.

Saturday, 14th September

• Vice-Chancellor's Appearance on OSBC TV (Saturday Morning Tray), Live broadcast, 8:00 – 9:00 a.m.

Sunday, 15th September

• Vice-Chancellor's Appearance on OSBC Radio (Eroya), Live broadcast, 6:00 – 7:00 a.m.
• Special Thanksgiving Service at the Olagunsoye Oyinlola Auditorium, 9:00 a.m.

Monday, 16th September

• Candido Da-Rocha Lecture at the Olagunsoye Oyinlola Auditorium, 12:00 p.m.

Tuesday, 17th September

• Vice-Chancellor's Appearance on Rave FM (Frank Talk), Live broadcast, 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
• Alumni Day Lecture, Orientation and Award Ceremony at the Olagunsoye Oyinlola Auditorium, 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Wednesday, 18th September

• Induction of Food Science and Technology Graduates by NIFST at the Multipurpose Hall, 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
• Induction of Education Graduates by TRCN at the Engineering Lecture Theatre, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
• Induction of Engineering Graduates by NSE at the 1,000-Seater Lecture Theatre, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
• Induction of Building Technology Graduates by NIOB at the Multipurpose Hall, 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.

Thursday, 19th September

• Convocation for Colleges of Humanities, Culture and Education at the Olagunsoye Oyinlola Auditorium, 10:00 a.m.
• Convocation for Colleges of Management, Social Sciences and Law at the Olagunsoye Oyinlola Auditorium, 1:00 p.m.
• Special Reception for First-Class Awardees ("Meet the Vice-Chancellor") at the Multipurpose Hall, 3:30 – 6:00 p.m.

Friday, 20th September

• Convocation Lecture at the Olagunsoye Oyinlola Auditorium, 9:30 a.m.
• Convocation for Colleges of Agriculture and Health Sciences at the Olagunsoye Oyinlola Auditorium, 12:00 p.m.
• Convocation for Colleges of Science, Engineering and Technology at the Olagunsoye Oyinlola Auditorium, 2:00 p.m.

Saturday, 21st September

• Commissioning of Projects by His Excellency, Governor Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, at the Project Sites, 9:00 a.m.
