This programme is a part of the transformative educational offerings provided by the Institute of Petroleum and Energy Studies (IPES), formerly known as the Institute of Petroleum Studies (IPS).
Overview of the Programme
Founded in 2003, IPES was established as a forward-thinking initiative to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and the dynamic, practical demands of the oil and gas industry. This programme is a collaboration between UNIPORT, Nigeria and IFP School, France and enjoys funding from the NNPC Limited /TotalEnergies E&P Nigeria Limited Joint Venture.

Programme Features
- Duration: This is a full-time, non-stop, twelve-month intensive programme that is strictly residential.
- Award of Degree: Successful candidates will be awarded a joint Master's degree from the University of Port Harcourt and IFP School, France.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- A Bachelor's degree with at least a second-class upper division from an NUC-accredited or internationally recognized Engineering Programme.
- A Post HND (Bachelor's degree) from a recognized Engineering programme with at least a second-class upper division.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or physical sciences with a second-class lower division plus a postgraduate diploma in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a second-class lower division, supplemented by three years of relevant work experience in the Oil and Gas industry.

- Application Deadline: June 28th, 2024, at 11:59 PM.
- Aptitude Test: July 5th, 2024, available onsite or virtually.
- Oral Interviews: Scheduled for July 11th and 12th, 2024, available onsite or virtually.
- Start of Academic Activities: November 11th, 2024.
