UNIZIK matriculation ceremony rescheduled for 2026

The management of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) has changed the date for the matriculation ceremony. The notice is for the university community, with attention on newly admitted students.

New matriculation date

UNIZIK has moved the matriculation ceremony earlier fixed for Friday, 23 January, 2026 to a new date:

The management shared this update to keep new students and the wider Community properly informed.

Time and venue

The updated schedule remains clear; the ceremony will hold as follows:

Because the venue is spread across faculties, newly admitted students should take Note of where their own faculty will host the event (that is where the ceremony holds).

What the management said about the change

UNIZIK management stated that any inconvenience the adjustment may cause is regretted; the key point is that the matriculation now holds on Friday, 13 February 2026, by 10am, across various faculties.
