*He is a Professor of Biopharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Microbiology

*He is an Alumnus of University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he bagged his B.Pharm, M. Pharm and PhD

*He is the pioneer Dean, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Agulu Campus of the University

*He served two terms of 2 years each as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) of the University

*He is currently the Director of Confucius Institute

*He is equally the Special Adviser to the Vice-Chancellor on Academic Matters

*He is the Chairman, Ceremonials Committee in the University

*He has well over 200 publications

*Recently, in the list of 28 Most Published Scholars in Nigeria, Prof. Esimone ranks 18th
