The contest brings in people from across Africa to work on digital tools.

You do not need a coding degree.

This year has two tracks:

• The Hackathon for teams who want to code and build tools fast.
• The Startup Pitch for founders who want to pitch ideas to judges and funders.

• One-on-one advice from people in tech and banking.

Follow the contest steps

Stage 1: Application

Send your details to join the contest.

All types of builders, coders, and founders can take part.

Stage 2: Regional Preliminaries

Shortlisted teams will compete by region.

Mentors will help improve your work before the final stage.

Stage 3: Final Demo

Top teams will show their work to a panel of judges.

The panel includes tech heads and senior bank staff.

Stage 4: Grand Finale

Winners will get cash, support, and a chance to work with WEMA Bank.
