ABSU Freshers Orientation Exercise Schedule 2025

Abia State University (ABSU) has made a slight change to the orientation programme for new students. The event will now take place on 20th and 21st March 2025 at different locations. Read on for the full schedule and attendance details.
Abia State University (ABSU) has adjusted the date for the orientation programme for first-year students.
The event was initially set for 14th March 2025 but will now hold on separate dates at different locations.
Orientation Schedule
Uturu Campus
- Date – Thursday, 20th March 2025
- Venue – University Auditorium
- Time – 10:00 am
Umuahia Location
- Date – Friday, 21st March 2025
- Venue – Auditorium, Umuahia location
- Time – 10:00 am
Faculty Allocation
- Faculty of Law and Faculty of Agriculture students will attend the orientation at Umuahia location.
- All other students will have their programme at Uturu Campus.
Attendance Instructions
- The orientation is mandatory for all regular first-year students.
- Students must be seated by 9:30 am before the arrival of the Vice-Chancellor.
