ABU IJMB & Remedial Admission Forms 2024/2025

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) is now accepting applications for its Basic (IJMB) and Remedial programmes for the 2024/2025 academic session. These programmes offer pathways to university admission for eligible candidates.

About the Programmes

Basic (IJMB) Programme

• This programme prepares students for Direct Entry into Nigerian universities.
• The duration is 12 months.

Remedial Programme

• This programme serves as a bridge for students seeking admission.
• It lasts for 9 months.

IJMB Admission Requirements

• Applicants need a minimum of five credits, including English and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings.
• Subject combinations include:
  • Biology, Chemistry, Physics
  • Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics
  • Physics, Chemistry, Geology
  • Chemistry, Geography, Physics
  • Geography, Mathematics, Physics
  • Chemistry, Geology, Physics
• Admitted candidates must register for JAMB Direct Entry Admission.

Remedial Admission Requirements

• Candidates must have at least three credits in science subjects in one sitting.
• Subject combinations include:
  • English, Biology, Chemistry, Geography
  • English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics
  • English, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Geography
  • English, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Geography
• Candidates must register for Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), meet the minimum pass mark, and select ABU as the first choice.

How to Apply

1. Pay ₦10,000 for the application form.
2. Visit the SBRS official site.
3. Create an account or log in as a returning user.
4. Complete the form with your details, O’Level results, and upload a passport photo.
5. Choose the programme (IJMB or Remedial).
6. Pay online using an ATM card or print the transaction slip to pay at a bank.
