Detailed Overview of BUK’s 2022/2023 Academic Calendar
Registration for Fresh and Returning Students: A Month-long Process
Commencing on Monday, 10th July and running through to 10th August 2023, both fresh and returning students will be provided with ample time to register for the academic session.
First Semester: A Mix of Academics and Breaks
First Semester Lectures will kick-off on Monday, 24th July, spanning over 13 weeks until 28th October 2023. A week-long mid-semester break, starting from Monday, 11th to 17th September 2023, will serve as a period for rest and recuperation. The First Semester Examinations will then follow from Monday, 30th October until 25th November 2023.
To close out the semester, students will have a week-long break from Monday, 27th November to 3rd December 2023, offering them a chance to relax and prepare for the second semester.
Second Semester: A Continuation of Rigorous Academics
The Second Semester Lectures will commence on Monday, 4th December 2023 and will run through to 2nd March 2024, also spanning 13 weeks. A mid-semester break will occur from Monday, 15th to 21st January 2024, breaking up the academic rigour.
