BYSCONS Post Basic Programme Admission Form 2024/2025

The Bayelsa State College of Nursing Sciences (BYSCONS), Tombia-Ekpetiama, is accepting applications for Post Basic Nursing and Post Basic Midwifery programmes.

The sale of forms will run from 6th January 2025 to 31st January 2025.

• Post Basic Nursing
• Post Basic Midwifery (Duration: 18 months)

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must hold an RN or RM qualification.
• A minimum of five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in not more than two sittings is required.
• Applicants must be at least 17 years old.

Application Process

Step 1: Obtain a Receipt

• Make a payment of N20,000 to the following account:

  • Account Number: 0097373620
  • Bank: Sterling Bank
• Take the bank teller to the Bursary Department at BYSCONS and request a receipt.
• The receipt will include a unique number for online access.

Step 2: Complete the Online Form

• Visit the application portal.
• Use the unique number from the receipt to access the form.
• Fill in the form with accurate details.
• Upload scanned copies of WAEC/NECO/NABTEB and JAMB results along with other required documents.

Step 3: Submit and Print

• Review the completed form for accuracy before submission.
• Submit the form online and print the acknowledgement slip.

Step 4: Entrance Examination

• Check the college website or brochure for the examination date, time, and venue.
• Bring the original acknowledgement slip to the examination venue.
