COASTLAFIA 2025 HND Admission Form Is Out: Apply Before It Closes

Another season, another round of forms. This time, it’s College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Lafia (COASTLAFIA) looking for fresh faces for its Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes. If you’re already holding a National Diploma (ND), and you’ve got some work experience under your belt, you’re halfway there.

They opened the gate, but it won’t stay open forever. So if you’re thinking of going back to class, better make your move now. Some of us dey delay small small until it’s too late, abi?

What you fit study

COASTLAFIA no carry last when it comes to variety. The HND courses on offer cover areas people dey actually build a life on. Here’s what’s on the table:

  1. Home and Rural Economics
  2. Agribusiness Management
  3. Crop Production Technology
  4. Pest Management Technology
  5. Horticulture and Landscape Technology
  6. Animal Health Technology
  7. Animal Production Technology
  8. Fisheries Technology
  9. Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology (Post-Harvest Technology Option)
  10. Agricultural Extension and Management

They’re not just fancy names. These are the kind of courses where you do the work, get your hands dirty, and come out ready to face the field. Literally.

Who fit apply?

Before you even think of filling form, read this part well. COASTLAFIA no dey collect everybody. You must meet one of these two:

  1. You get ND (in a related course) with at least a Lower Credit and one year of work experience.
  2. Or, you get ND with Pass, but you must show two years of work experience.

And yes, you must have also met the JAMB UTME requirement when you got your ND. No shortcut here.

How to apply wey sure

Okay, you checked all the boxes? Cool. Let’s walk you through the process without stress:

  1. Go to the COASTLAFIA HND Application Portal.
  2. Open an account if you never get one.
  3. Pay ₦6,000 for the application form.

Simple steps, right? But don’t let the ease deceive you. Time dey go.

Portal opens: 8th September, 2025

Portal closes: 18th October, 2025

Once you apply online, don’t stop there. Print your form, gather your photocopies — credentials, ND transcript and all that — then carry am go submit for Academic Office inside the Registry at COASTLAFIA. Dem no dey run away. Just carry your things go give them directly.
