The Embassy of France in Nigeria has launched a scholarship programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This programme supports Nigerian students pursuing a master’s degree in Management at French universities.

Overview of the Scholarship
The scholarship is funded by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and the French Ministry for Higher Education and Research.
It covers two academic years for students starting in the first year of a master’s programme (M1) and one academic year for those admitted directly into the second year (M2).
Applicants must enrol in public universities with tuition fees not exceeding €4,000 per year.

Scholarship Benefits
The scholarship provides:
- Transportation costs.
- Monthly allowance.
- Assistance in finding affordable housing.
- Healthcare coverage for the study period.
Tuition and registration fees are not covered and must be paid by recipients.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for this scholarship, you must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen residing in Nigeria.
- Be under 30 years old.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in Management.
- Have completed National Service.
- Have a First Class or Second Class Upper degree (priority consideration).
- Be committed to starting studies in France by September or October 2025.
French proficiency is not required.
Required Documents
Applicants must upload the following on the Etudes en France platform:
- A copy of a valid international passport (minimum validity of two years).
- A detailed CV.
- A personal statement.
- A Bachelor’s certificate or equivalent.
- Undergraduate transcript (in one or two documents).
- NYSC certificate.
- A recommendation letter from your university (optional but recommended).
Application Timeline
- 1 December 2024: Deadline for applications on the platform.
- 8 January 2025: Campus France academic interviews begin in Lagos and Abuja.
- 25 February 2025: Deadline for Campus France interview payment.
- 15 March 2025: Deadline for Campus France interviews.
- April 2025: Applications sent to institutions.
- 30 April 2025: Deadline for institutional decisions.
- 1 May 2025: Deadline for students to select an institution.
- May to June 2025: Interviews for scholarship recipients.
- July 2025: Visa application process begins.
- September/October 2025: Academic year starts in France.
Application Process
Create an account on the Etudes en France platform.
Upload all required documents.
Apply to seven different universities or Institutes of Administration and Enterprises (IAE).
Watch the Etudes en France tutorial if you encounter difficulties.
Only applications that follow the guidelines will be considered.
