FUTA SPD Matriculation Ceremony 2024 – Details and Schedule
The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), School of Professional Development (SPD), is set to hold its first matriculation ceremony for newly admitted students.
This significant event marks the official initiation of students into the academic community at FUTA.
Ceremony Details
The matriculation ceremony will take place on Friday, 22nd November 2024.
The event is scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM.
The venue for the ceremony is the T.I. Francis Auditorium, FUTA.
The Vice-Chancellor, Professor A. T. Oladiji, alongside other key officers of the university, will attend the ceremony.
All newly admitted students are required to participate and take the Matriculation Oath during the ceremony.
Academic Gown Collection Process
Students must collect their academic gowns and matriculation list clearance from the SPD Administrative Office.
The collection period begins at 8:00 AM on Thursday, 21st November 2024, and closes at 12:00 PM on Friday, 22nd November 2024.
Students are advised to ensure timely collection to avoid any last-minute inconvenience.
Changes to Academic Activities
All online lectures will be suspended on the day of the matriculation ceremony.
In-person classes will resume immediately after the event concludes.
