The ITET Gem Foundation proudly announces the second edition of its Essay Competition. The topic for this year’s competition is “Making Nigeria an Economic Powerhouse: My Ideas for Today and Vision for the Future.” This competition invites young Nigerians to share their thoughts and solutions for the nation’s economic challenges.

Eligibility Criteria
To participate, you must:
- Be a Nigerian residing in Nigeria.
- Be under 18 years of age when submitting your essay.
- Be reachable by phone (the phone does not have to be yours, but you should be contactable through it).
- Have access to an email account for essay submission.
- Be a registered senior school 2 or 3 student in a recognised Senior Secondary School.
- Entries from public school students are especially encouraged, but private school students are also welcome to apply.
Essay Requirements
Your essay should:
- Be between 500 and 750 words.
- Discuss Nigeria’s current economic realities.
- Share your vision for an economically lively Nigeria.
- Propose solutions to untangle current economic challenges.
- Explain your role in realising these ideas now and in the future.
Prizes
Winners of the ITET Gem Essay Competition will receive:
- First Prize: N150,000.00
- Second Prize: N100,000.00
- Third Prize: N50,000.00
How to Apply
To enter the competition:
- Write your essay on the topic “Making Nigeria an Economic Powerhouse: My Ideas for Today and Vision for the Future.”
- Detail your perceptions and solutions regarding Nigeria’s economy and your personal role in these solutions.
- Submit your essay by email to admin@itetgemfoundation.com.
