JABU’s Admission Prerequisites

General Admission Criteria

All aspirants must have GCE, O/L, SSCE (WAE, NECO, NABTEB or equivalent) showcasing credit passes in five subjects, including both English Language and Mathematics. This can be from one or two sittings. Moreover, those who initially chose another institution on JAMB but now wish to select JABU as their preferred choice should:

  1. Amend their choice of institution via JAMB.
  2. Secure the Joseph Ayo Babalola University Application Form.
  3. Engage in the screening exercise.

Good news for “awaiting result” candidates: you can still apply, as long as your results will be released by September of the year of admission.

Direct Entry Candidates

  1. Five credit passes at WASC (SSCE), NECO or equivalent in subjects related to each programme, with at least two at ‘A’ Level.
  2. OND with upper Credit or NCE at Credit level from any university that JABU recognises.
  3. Joseph Ayo Babalola University Diploma.
  4. Diplomas from any other recognised universities.
