General Basic Requirements

• Five O’level credits relevant to the chosen course, obtained in no more than two sittings.
• Two subjects at ‘A’ level or an NCE Merit Pass in relevant areas.
• Credits in English Language and Mathematics are mandatory for all courses.

Specific Subject Area Requirements

• English Major: Credits in Literature in English and English Language at O’level.
• Economics Major: Credits in English Language, Mathematics, and Economics.
• Human Kinetics, Sports, and Health Education, Political Science Major: A credit in English Language, Mathematics, and Government at O’level.
• Health Education: Credits in English Language and Mathematics, plus additional qualifications like Staff Registered Nurse and Midwifery Certificates.
• Mathematics and Science Major: Credits in Mathematics and English Language.

Additional Notes

• ICAN (Part II) or CTS (Part II) are acceptable for Economics.
• Arabic Institution certificate holders may be considered for admission if other entry requirements are met.
• LASU accepts any other Arts/Social Sciences subject in place of Yoruba Language.
• Specific diplomas in Health Education, Environmental Health, and related fields are acceptable for relevant courses.

Course Duration

Four-Year Degree Programme

• For candidates with NCE/ND Merit/Upper Credit grade and above.

Five-Year Degree Programme

• For candidates with WASC/SSCE and NCE who do not meet the entry qualifications for the four-year programme.

Method of Application

• Application forms are available on the LASU Website for a fee of N10,000.
• Submit a copy of the online application form along with relevant ‘O’level scratch cards to the Directorate of Sandwich Degree Programme on the chosen campus.
• Important: Payments should only be made through the official channels mentioned above.

Closing Date and Entrance Examination

• The application closes ten weeks from the date of this publication.
• The entrance examination and interview are scheduled for Saturday, 12th November 2024, at 8:00 a.m. at the 3-in-1 Lecture Theatre (Hall 1 and 2).
• Bring writing materials, and originals and photocopies of all credentials to the examination.
