OSPOLY Convocation 2026: Schedule, Fee

Osun State Polytechnic, Iree has announced its 8th combined convocation ceremony. The event will run from Monday, 23 March to Thursday, 26 March 2026; it is for graduands, parents or guardians, friends of the Polytechnic, and the general Public.
Programme of events
Monday, 23 March 2026
A press conference will hold at the ETF Hall by 10:00 a.m.
Tuesday, 24 March 2026
A novelty football match between Polytechnic staff and graduands will take place by 3:00 p.m. at the OSPOLY Football Field.
Wednesday, 25 March 2026
The convocation lecture will be delivered by Professor Yakib Afolabi of the Federal University of Oye-Ekiti. The lecture will hold at the ETF Hall by 11:00 a.m.
Thursday, 26 March 2026
The award of certificates and diplomas will take place by 10:00 a.m. at the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree Sports Complex.
Academic gowns and hood collection
Graduands who have completed their programmes and have been cleared for convocation are required to sign for and collect their academic gowns and hoods from their Faculties from 24 March 2026, after payment of N5,000 for gown hire at the Bursary.
The Polytechnic also stated that all academic gowns and hoods must be returned to the respective Faculties on or before Monday, 30 March 2026.
Assembly and seating arrangement
Graduands and award winners are required to assemble at their designated points at the Convocation Arena on Thursday, 26 March 2026, between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
They must be fully robed and seated according to their faculties. No one, including graduands and parents or guardians, will be admitted into the venue after 9:00 a.m.
General instructions for graduands and guests
All graduands must wear the prescribed academic gowns; security officials will enforce the “No Gown, No Entry” rule.
All invited guests of the Polytechnic who have invitation cards must be seated by 9:00 a.m.
Designated parking lots have been provided within the Polytechnic premises.
Clearance process
The Polytechnic has advised graduands to begin the clearance process for the collection of academic gowns at their respective Faculties without delay.
The notice ended with congratulations to all graduands and best wishes for a successful convocation ceremony.
