The Sprinng Writing Fellowship (SWF) is a free, online, six-week mentorship programme for writers from Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia and South Africa.
This programme focuses on four literary genres:
Prepare for JAMB, WAEC, NECO, BECE, NCEE and Post UTME
Practise CBT Exams on Mobile or PC
Prepare for Post UTME, WAEC, NECO, JAMB UTME, Junior WAEC (BECE) and Common Entrance (NCEE) with the MySchoolGist CBT App and Software. Use it on Android, iPhone or Windows to practise past questions anytime.

How the Programme Works
- Each mentee will be assigned a mentor.
- Mentees will submit one piece of writing per week for review.
- Mentors will provide feedback on each submission.
- Communication will take place via email, phone calls, WhatsApp and text messages.
- The programme runs for six weeks, with a one-week grace period if needed.

Who Can Apply
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a citizen of Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia or South Africa.
- Live in one of these countries.
- Be between 18 and 25 years old.
- Have never published a book (eBook, chapbook or hardcopy).
Selection Criteria
The programme seeks writers who:
- Have basic writing skills and show potential for growth.
- Are open to feedback and willing to improve.
- Are committed to developing their writing skills.

- Fellowship Period: 1st June – 15th July 2025
