The University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan invites applications for the Basic Midwifery Programme for the March 2025 admission cycle.
This programme provides a path for students to qualify as Registered Midwives (RM) in Nigeria, with guidance from the Nursing & Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

Programme Highlights
This Basic Midwifery Programme spans three years, offering training in midwifery skills and maternal healthcare.
Graduates receive the Registered Midwife (RM) certification upon completion.
Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission, candidates must:
- Be at least 16 years old at the time of application
- Possess a minimum of five O' Level Credit passes in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics from either WAEC, NECO or NABTEB
- Ensure that all required credits are from one or two sittings
Note: The application form sales open on 29th October 2024 and close on 16th December 2024.
Application Process
To apply for the UCH Basic Midwifery Programme, follow these steps:
- Go to the UCH Schools Portal at UCH Ibadan Application Portal (https://portal.uch-ibadan.org.ng).
- Click on the REMITA PAYMENT button and make a payment of ₦25,000.
- After payment, sign up with your RRR, email and password used during the payment.
- Log in using your email and password to complete the application.
- Download the Applicants' User Guide from the portal.
- Print two copies of the form and Photocard to bring on the examination day.
- Additionally, make a payment of ₦200 to the Oyo State Nursing & Midwifery Committee Account at First Bank PLC, Account Number: 2019704292.

Venue: Arch. Bamidele Olusegun Samson CBT Centre, University College Hospital, South Campus, Ibadan
