Eligibility for UNIBEN Direct Entry Screening
- Candidates must apply through JAMB for the 2024/2025 Direct Entry Admission.
- UNIBEN must be the first choice institution for all applicants.
- A minimum of five credit passes at GCE O/L, SSCE, NECO, or equivalent is required.
- Subjects must include English Language and, if required for the course, Mathematics, along with three other relevant subjects or four if not including Mathematics.
- These qualifications must be obtained in no more than two sittings.
- A valid e-mail account is essential for communication and updates during the application process.
How to Apply for UNIBEN Direct Entry Screening
Application Process
- Get a Valid Email Account
- Ensure you have a functional e-mail account for communication.
- Website Navigation
- Visit the UNIBEN official website and navigate to the WAEUP Student Portal.
- Registration
- Click on “Register for application” at the top left corner of the displayed page.
- Personal Information
- Enter your surname and JAMB Registration Number exactly as they appear on the JAMB Registration slip.
- Your ID and Password will be displayed.
- Login
- Access the WAEUP KOFA Student Portal and log in using your newly displayed username and password.
- Initiate Application
- Click on ‘Application record’ and fill in all the required information.
- Upload Passport
- A recent, clear “1×1” colour passport photograph with a red background in JPEG format is mandatory.
- Failure to adhere to this will result in disqualification.
- Payment
- To pay for the application, click on “Add online payment ticket” at the page’s bottom, followed by “Pay Via Remita” at the top left corner.
- The application fee is N2,000.00, excluding any other charges.
- Confirmation
- Preview and confirm all your details before final submission.
- Amendments will not be possible after the deadline.
Screening Details
The Direct Entry Screening Exercise for the 2024/2025 academic session is scheduled between Monday, 7th October 2024 and Saturday, 12th October 2024.
The screening will take place at designated centres within the Ugbowo Campus of the University.
The exercise will be conducted using the Computer Based Test (CBT) method.
Candidates must be seated at least one hour before their scheduled time for the screening exercise.
