PUMS Post UTME Form 2026/2027 For Admission

PAMO University of Medical Sciences, PUMS, has announced admission into its full-time undergraduate degree programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session.

Interested candidates can apply for the Post UTME screening, provided they meet the stated UTME, O’Level and first-choice rules. The school also accepts candidates awaiting SSCE results or an equivalent result for registration.

Who Can Apply For PUMS Post UTME

PUMS requires applicants to have sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and chosen the university as first choice.

Candidates who did not choose PUMS as first choice can still qualify for the screening exercise after changing their first-choice school to PUMS through the JAMB portal. That step matters.

PUMS Admission Requirements

UTME candidates must have five credit passes at SSCE or an equivalent examination.

The required subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Language and Mathematics, and candidates must get them at no more than two sittings. Applicants must also upload their WASSCE, NECO or equivalent results on JAMB CAPS.

For most programmes, candidates need a 2026 UTME score of 170 and above.

For Medicine and Surgery, MBBS, candidates need 220 and above, with the same relevant subjects listed above.

Rule For International Applicants

International applicants should follow the JAMB-approved provisions for admission into Nigerian universities.

The notice gives this as the guide for such applicants, so they should keep to the approved process while applying.

PUMS has listed undergraduate courses under Allied Health Sciences, Basic Medical Sciences and Clinical Sciences.

Faculty Of Allied Health Sciences

These programmes run for five or six years.

Faculty Of Basic Medical Sciences

These programmes run for four years.

Faculty Of Clinical Sciences

This programme runs for six years.

How To Register For PUMS Post UTME

Applicants should begin through the PAMO University of Medical Sciences website.

They should click the “Apply online” sub-menu under the Admissions menu, or go straight to the PUMS online registration portal. The portal will ask for the JAMB number before it checks the applicant’s status.

To register, candidates should:

  1. Open the PUMS registration portal.
  2. Enter the JAMB number.
  3. Click “Check Eligibility”.
  4. Fill the application form after successful JAMB number check.
  5. Provide correct details before moving on.
  6. Upload the required supporting documents.
  7. Complete payment and upload evidence of payment.
  8. Make final submission.
  9. Print the clearance form.

Candidates should check every entry before submission; wrong details can affect the application record.

The application payment is ₦10,000 only.

PUMS has stated that candidates should prepare for the mandatory screening exercise.

The Post UTME screening date has not been announced yet. Applicants should complete the online form and keep their clearance form safe after printing.
