I.A.A Kwara State Scholarship 2026 opens for applications

The Ibrahim Adedamola Adesoye (I.A.A) Kwara State Scholarship is for bright and resilient undergraduates from underserved communities in Kwara State. It supports students enrolled in a tertiary school in Kwara State who show academic commitment and strong potential, yet may face financial barriers in their studies.

This scholarship is offered in partnership with DreamCode Africa; the joint aim is to back students who keep pushing for academic progress.

The application window opened on 3 April 2026 and will close on 30 April 2026.

What the I.A.A Kwara State Scholarship offers

The scheme gives more than funding. Selected students will receive support across key areas that affect study, growth, and community work.

Financial support for academic expenses

The scholarship provides direct funding for educational expenses.

Mentorship and career guidance

Beneficiaries will gain access to mentorship opportunities for professional guidance and career development.

Scholar network

The programme also gives students a community network of scholars for peer learning and connection.

Social impact project

Selected applicants will take part in the supervised execution of a social impact project within the community.

Who can apply for the I.A.A Kwara State Scholarship

Eligibility requirements

A candidate must:

  1. Be an indigene of Kwara State.
  2. Have added advantage if from Irepodun LGA.
  3. Be enrolled in a federal or state university in Kwara State.
  4. Maintain a 3.0 CGPA at the end of each academic session.
  5. Have no more than one carryover course.
  6. Submit compelling essays and provide all required documents.
