Bauchi State Scholarship Deadline Extended

The National Union of Bauchi State Students has announced a new deadline for the 2026/2027 Bauchi State Scholarship Application.

The closing date has moved from 23 April 2026 to Wednesday, 30 April 2026. Eligible Bauchi State students who have not submitted their forms now have more time to complete the process.

Bauchi State Scholarship Application Gets New Deadline

NUBASS informed Bauchi State students and the general public that the ongoing scholarship application will now close on Wednesday, 30 April 2026.

The first deadline was 23 April 2026.

This extension gives eligible students extra time to access the portal, complete the required documents and submit their applications.

Why NUBASS Announced the Extension

The Union said the new deadline followed efforts by the NUBASS National President, Muhammad Sulaiman Abdulwahab, with support from the Bauchi State Government.

NUBASS also said the decision came after appeals and feedback from students across various schools.

Some students faced delays while trying to access the portal or complete their documents before the first closing date. The new date gives such applicants a short, final window; no one should treat it casually.

Who Should Use the Extra Time

The extension applies to eligible Bauchi State students who have not yet submitted their scholarship applications.

Such students should complete the process on or before Wednesday, 30 April 2026.

Applicants who have started the form should check their details and make sure their required documents are complete before submission.

What Happens After the Portal Closes

NUBASS stated that the relevant authorities will begin screening, verification and assessment after the application portal closes.

The review will follow the set guidelines and eligibility criteria for the scholarship programme.

Students should expect their submitted entries to pass through the required checks after 30 April 2026.

NUBASS urged all eligible Bauchi State students yet to apply to use the new date and finish the process.

The Union also praised the level of student participation recorded during the application period.
