Young Professionals Bootcamp 2026 for Young Nigerians

Young Professionals Bootcamp, YPB 2026, has opened applications for young Nigerians who want to build stronger careers, grow business ideas, or gain better direction from mentors and industry leaders.

The programme targets Nigerians aged 20 to 35 by June 2026, and it offers an intensive 3-day in-residence bootcamp. For this cohort, fellows with existing businesses can pitch for a seed grant from a fund pool of up to N150 million.

About Young Professionals Bootcamp 2026

Young Professionals Bootcamp is a leadership and enterprise programme for high-performing young professionals.

The Platform Nigeria and The Covenant Nation support the bootcamp. Since it began, YPB has hosted over 7 cohorts and trained more than 1,500 fellows across Nigeria through skills sessions, mentorship and advisory support.

Grant Pool for Existing Businesses

YPB 2026 gives fellows with existing enterprises a chance to pitch their businesses.

Selected fellows may compete for seed grants from a pool of up to N150 million; the support aims to help them scale their ventures after the bootcamp.

Selection for YPB 2026

About 300 participants will be selected from the application pool.

Those selected will attend the immersive onsite, physical bootcamp. Applicants must choose one of the three streams listed for the 2026 cohort.

Corporate Career Stream

The Corporate Career stream is for applicants who want to build a strong path in the corporate sector.

This stream covers key attributes that participants need for a successful corporate career.

Creative Industry Stream

The Creative Industry stream serves young people working in creative fields such as writing, photography, storytelling, entertainment, art, media and marketing.

Participants in this stream will learn how to earn from their craft and grow their work.

Entrepreneurship Stream

The Entrepreneurship stream is for aspiring entrepreneurs.

It helps participants test their ideas and understand the steps needed to start and grow a business.

Benefits of Young Professionals Bootcamp 2026

Successful candidates will receive accommodation, meals and training materials for the full bootcamp period.

YPB covers these costs so fellows can focus on the in-residence experience, learning sessions and practical work. The programme also exposes fellows to skills, tools and resources that fit their chosen career paths.

Fellows will receive general leadership training and curated sessions for entrepreneurs, corporate professionals and creatives.

They will also meet and learn from industry mentors across business, corporate career and the creative sector. That contact matters; a good room can change how a young professional thinks, plans and builds.

YPB also gives fellows room to build relationships with one another.

After the bootcamp, fellows can keep using the professional development, networking and collaboration openings offered by The Platform YPB.

Eligibility for YPB 2026

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• They must be final-year students or graduates
• They must be between 20 and 35 years old by June 2026
• They must show a strong desire to solve problems and thrive
• They must be Nigerian

Young Professionals Bootcamp 2026 Timeline

The application timeline has been released.

• Application opens: 1 May 2026
• Application closes: 24 May 2026
• Application decision: 5 to 12 June 2026
• Bootcamp dates: 25 to 28 June 2026
