UITH Post Basic Nursing Diploma Admission Form

University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital has invited applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its Post Basic Nursing Diploma programmes for the 2026/2027 session. The schools listed for this admission are Accident and Emergency, Paediatrics, Nephrology and Ophthalmic Nursing.

How to Apply for UITH Post Basic Nursing Diploma Admission Form

Application forms are obtainable through the UITH official website.

The request for the application form must be accompanied by a non-refundable fee of N20,000 only. Foreign applicants are to pay the dollar equivalent.

Payment is to be made through Remita.

Remita Payment Steps

Applicants are to follow these steps:

  1. Visit Remita payment portal
  2. Click on “Pay FGN and State TSA”
  3. Select “FGN Federal Government of Nigeria”
  4. Type “University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital” under who to pay
  5. Select “UITH GENERAL PURPOSE” under Name of Service/Purpose
  6. Fill in the other required details and make payment

What to Do After Payment

After payment through Remita, the applicant can proceed with registration by filling the online SPBN form with the Remita Retrieval Reference number generated after payment.

The applicant is then to click APPLY NOW and enter a valid personal E-mail address. A confirmation link will be sent to that E-mail address.

The applicant is to open the E-mail account in a new tab in the same browser and click the link sent by noreply@uithilorin. The PBN application form will then open for completion and submission.

Applicants are to select the school they wish to apply for from the drop-down menu.

Documents and Upload Notes

On the sponsor details form, the applicant is expected to upload the scanned signature of the sponsor in jpeg, png or jpg format.

Each candidate must also upload three typed and scanned referees on the referees’ letterheaded paper in jpeg, png or jpg format.

The applicant is to fill every other field as required. After submission, the system will direct the candidate to print or download the completed form.

If no printout appears, the form was not successfully submitted and the applicant has to fill it again.

The online printout must be brought on the day of the examination or interview.

UITH Application Closing Date

All completed application forms must reach the office of the College Secretary, School Complex, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, P.M.B. 1459, Ilorin, on or before 31 July 2026.

Selection and Interview Date

The school says the date for the selection exercise, which includes the written and oral interview, has not been fixed. It will be communicated later.
