Yaba College of Technology, YABATECH, has extended its registration and screening exercise by one week from Monday, 27 April 2026.
The College Management approved the extension with a late registration penalty fee of N20,000, payable to the College.
YABATECH Late Registration Fee
Students who are yet to complete their registration and screening are to pay a late registration fee of N20,000.
That is the stated penalty.
The notice makes it clear that the extension is tied to payment of the late fee, so affected students should treat the process with care; missing this window may create more problems with class access and student records.
Directive to Heads of Department
Heads of Department have been directed to send out candidates or lecture attendees without matric numbers from lecture rooms and classes.
This directive takes effect henceforth.
For students still attending lectures without matric numbers, the message is plain enough: registration status now matters at the classroom door.
CITM to Publish Names of Unregistered Students
The Centre for Information Technology and Management, CITM, has also been directed to publish the names of unregistered students.
This means the college will make a list of affected students available through CITM.
The notice did not add a separate process for checking the list, but it named CITM as the unit responsible for publishing the names.
Who Should Take Action
The notice affects students who have not completed registration and screening, especially those attending lectures without matric numbers.
It also concerns Heads of Department and CITM, since both were given direct tasks by the College Management.
All concerned persons are expected to treat the directives as urgent.
