ABUAD Post UTME/Direct Entry Form for 2026/2027 Admission

Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, ABUAD, has opened applications for admission into its undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session. Qualified candidates can apply for courses across Medicine, Pharmacy, Law, Engineering, Sciences, Social and Management Sciences, and Arts.

The application covers UTME, Direct Entry and inter-university transfer candidates.

ABUAD Undergraduate Courses for 2026/2027 Admission

ABUAD lists programmes under seven colleges. Applicants should read through the course list and duration before starting the form; the selected course must match the required O’Level subjects and admission route.

College of Engineering

ABUAD states that its College of Engineering has 43 laboratories and has been acknowledged as the “Template for Engineering Education in Nigeria”. The college also won international invention competitions in Seattle, US, in 2015 and London, England, in 2016.

ABUAD states that its Architecture programme has approval from the Architect Registration Council of Nigeria, ARCON.

ABUAD Admission Requirements

Candidates need a current Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, result for undergraduate admission. ABUAD does not accept results from past UTME years.

The O’Level rules differ by course.

Requirements for Law

Candidates applying for Law must have five O’Level credit passes at one sitting. The accepted results include WAEC, NECONABTEB, GCE and IGCSE.

Candidates applying for Medicine and Surgery, MBBS, must have five O’Level credit passes at one sitting. The accepted results include WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB and IGCSE.

Requirements for Other Courses

For other programmes, candidates need five O’Level credit passes at not more than two sittings. The credits must include English Language, Mathematics and three other subjects relevant to the chosen course.

Candidates awaiting SSCE results or an equivalent result can also apply, provided they qualify when their results become available.

How to Apply for ABUAD Post UTME/DE Form

ABUAD gives applicants two application routes. Candidates can complete the form online or visit the university campus.

  1. Apply through the ABUAD undergraduate admission form portal and make online payment.
  2. Visit the main campus at Afe Babalola University, Km 8.5 Afe Babalola Way, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria.

ABUAD will share the Post-UTME screening date and mode when ready. Candidates can also check the ABUAD official website for updates.

ABUAD Application Fees

Candidates who chose ABUAD in the UTME should pay ₦2,000 for the admission application form and ₦5,000 as screening fee. The payment is made online.

Direct Entry and inter-university transfer application forms cost ₦10,500 each.

Change of University for ABUAD Admission

Candidates who did not choose Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, during UTME can still take part in the Post-UTME screening. They must buy a change of university form from ABUAD at ₦3,500, apart from the ₦2,000 admission application form fee and ₦5,000 screening fee.

A JAMB change of university form is also required.
