Akawe Torkula Polytechnic, Makurdi, has released the IJMBE admission form for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The notice is for prospective students who want to apply for the Interim Joint Matriculation Examination (IJMBE) programme and use it as a route into Nigerian universities through Direct Entry.

Akawe Torkula Polytechnic IJMBE Admission Requirements

Candidates must have at least five O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics.

The credits must be obtained in not more than two sittings.

A candidate who does not yet have credit in Mathematics or English Language may still apply, as the programme gives such students a chance to correct those deficiencies during the session.

Forms are available at the Bursary Department of Akawe Torkula Polytechnic, Makurdi.

Applicants should buy the form directly from the polytechnic’s Bursary Department and complete the process as directed by the school.
