SLU IJMB Admission Form for 2026/2027 Session

Sule Lamido University, Kafin Hausa, has opened online applications for its Interim Joint Matriculation Board Examination programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The School of Preliminary and Continuing Education, under the Office of the Director, runs the IJMBE admission process. Candidates who want to apply should check the O’Level requirements, application dates, screening fee and documents before starting the form.

SLU IJMB Admission Requirements

Applicants need at least five credits in SSCE.

The result must come from not more than two sittings, and each study group has a subject rule attached to it; candidates should check the group that matches their planned course path.

• Arts students must include English Language.
• Science students must include Mathematics.
• Social and Management Sciences students must include either English Language or Mathematics.

SLU IJMB Application Dates

SLU has fixed the application window for the 2026/2027 IJMBE form.

• Application starts: Monday, 1 June 2026
• Application closes: Monday, 29 June 2026

Candidates should complete the form within this period.

How to Apply for SLU IJMB Admission Form

Applicants should complete the registration online through the SPACE application portal.

1. Visit the SLU SPACE application portal and select IJMBE Programme.
2. Create a user profile.
3. Log in with the registered email and password.
4. Upload a passport photograph and update the profile.
5. Select the preferred option: IJMBE Arts, Science or Social Sciences.
6. Fill in O’Level results and subject combinations.
7. Generate a payment invoice or select Pay Direct.
8. Pay the non-refundable IJMBE screening fee of ₦3,000, excluding REMITA charges, through REMITA on the SLU admission portal.
9. Generate and print the Acknowledgement Slip.

Applicants should check names, passport upload, O’Level entries and subject choices before final submission. A clean form saves stress during screening.

Documents Required for SLU IJMB Screening

Candidates must present original copies and photocopies of the required documents during the physical screening exercise.

The documents are:

• Acknowledgement Slip
• Evidence of payment, RRR receipt
• WAEC, SSCE, NECO Statement of Result or equivalent result
• Two recent passport-sized photographs with white background
• Certificate of Indigeneship
• Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
