AAU Ekpoma Matriculates 7,570 Students for 2018/2019 Session
Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma on Tuesday matriculated seven thousand, five hundred and seventy (7,570) students for the 2018/2019 academic session.

The Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma held its 36th Matriculation Ceremony on Tuesday, 26th March at the Cordelia Agbebaku Auditorium.
Speaking at the matriculation ceremony, the Vice Chancellor of the university, Professor I.A. Onimawo said since the first Matriculation which was held on the 8th of February, 1982 for 408 students the institution has become a pace setter in university education.
While welcoming the fresh students Professor Onimawo said their oath of allegiance marked the beginning of their journey of success in life, to become outstanding leaders of thought, professionals and distinguished people in their chosen fields.
He told the students that government is making huge investments into building up them as future leaders in Nigeria and it is required of them to to be focused, diligent and committed to their studies and their training.
THE SOCIETY EXPECTS DISCIPLINE AND HARDWORK FROM YOU. YOUR CERTIFICATES AT THE POINT OF GRADUATION WILL BE ISSUED FOR LEARNING AND CHARACTER. THEREFORE, YOU MUST WORK HARD TO MERIT YOUR CERTIFICATE.
Professor Onimawo assured the students the university would provide the best in their Academic pursuit and urged them to be proud ambassadors of their State and families.
DO NOT FAIL THE STATE, THE UNIVERSITY OR YOUR FAMILIES. ABOVE ALL DO NOT FAIL YOURSELVES. BE FOCUSED ON THE VISION AND MISSION OF YOUR STUDENTSHIP. DON’T BE LED ASTRAY BY FRIENDS. USE THE SOCIAL MEDIA WITH WISDOM AND CARE. YOU MUST SHUN ALL EVIL ASSOCIATIONS, CULTISM AND ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR.
According to him,since the past three years the institution has initiated so many infrastructural developments and attracted lots of commendations from stakeholders.
He congratulated them and prayed for them to key into the institutions vision of excellence.
IT IS MY PRAYER THAT GOD ALMIGHTY BY WHOSE GRACE YOU HAVE BEEN ADMITTED INTO THIS GREAT CITADEL OF LEARNING WILL CONTINUE TO PROTECT AND GUIDE YOU. THE EVIL ONES WILL NOT LEAD YOU ASTRAY. YOUR MISSION WILL NOT BE ABORTED. YOU WILL ATTAIN THE GOLDEN FLEECE. YOU WILL BECOME A PRIDE TO YOURSELVES YOUR PARENTS, FAMILIES AND THE COUNTRY AT LARGE.
