Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) has announced certificate collection for 2024/2025 graduands. Collection runs from Monday, 2nd February 2026 to Friday, 6 Feb 2026; graduands are expected to go to the designated venue for their faculty and complete the listed clearance and payment steps.

All payments for certificate collection are done at the ABU Microfinance Bank only; no other bank route is stated.
Step-by-step Requirements for Collection
ABU set out the process below; graduands should follow the order.
1) Pay at ABU Microfinance Bank
The payments are made at ABU Microfinance Bank only; keep the tellers safe, keep them clean.
2) Present tellers and collect receipts
Graduands will present payment tellers and collect receipts at:
- University Cash Office (Room 014C), Senate Building
- Alumni Office
3) Collect and validate the clearance form
- Obtain the clearance form from Room 115, Academic Affairs Office
- Proceed to 3rd Floor, Room 305A, Senate Building for clearance validation
4) Submit documents for certificate release
Present the signed clearance form and payment receipt(s) to the designated officers at the Academic Affairs Office; this step is where the file gets cleared for release.
Key Reminders
- The graduand must come with the original student I.D. card.
- Collection of certificate by proxy is not allowed; no stand-in person will be accepted.
