ABU Resit Examination Calendar 2024/2025 Academic Session

The Senate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, at its 554th meeting held on Thursday, 25 September 2025, approved the timetable for the special resit examinations meant for final year students. This is a chance many students look forward to and one they must treat with all seriousness.

Here's the breakdown of the schedule in clear steps:

• End of Second Semester: Saturday, 27 September 2025
• Registration for Resit: Monday, 10 November – Saturday, 15 November 2025 (1 week)
• Revision Period: Monday, 10 November – Saturday, 22 November 2025 (2 weeks)
• Resit Examinations: Monday, 24 November – Saturday, 29 November 2025 (1 week)
• Resumption for New Session: Monday, 5 January 2026

It is tight, almost like a farmer rushing to gather harvest before the rains set in. Miss one date and the whole effort could go to waste.

A Note for Final Year Students
