AKSCOE announces matriculation gown payment for new students

Akwa Ibom State College of Education (AKSCOE), through the Office of the Bursar, has released a notice for newly admitted students for the 2025 to 2026 academic session. The notice gives clear guidance on the required payment for matriculation gowns ahead of the matriculation ceremony.

The message applies to fresh students across approved programmes and outlines the amount, payment method and deadline.

Matriculation gown fee at Akwa Ibom State College of Education (AKSCOE)

All newly admitted students taking part in matriculation are required to pay a gown fee of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000). This applies to students admitted into NCE, Degree and Direct Entry programmes who are scheduled to matriculate.

Payment details

The college has stated that payment is open from now and will close on Wednesday, 17 December 2025. Students are advised to complete payment within this period to avoid issues during matriculation activities.

The notice was signed by the Acting Bursar, Mrs Jenny I. Mkpanam, CNA. Copies were sent to the Provost, Registrar, Directorate of ICT, Directorate of Medical Services, Dean of Student Affairs, the Students' Union Government and displayed on official notice boards.

Akwa Ibom State College of Education (AKSCOE) encourages all affected students to follow the payment steps as stated and prepare for matriculation as scheduled.
