IAUE announces Christmas break schedule

Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) has shared details of its Christmas vacation for staff and students. The notice, signed on 8 December 2025 by the Registrar, Dr C. A. Ajie, confirms that the university leadership has approved a short holiday period to mark the festive season.

The Christmas break will begin on Friday, 19 December 2025, and end on Monday, 5 January 2026. All teaching, learning, and office duties will return to full schedule on Monday, 5 January 2026.
Staff members assigned to essential duties are expected to remain at work throughout the holiday. These include teams within the Estate Department, Security Services, and Health Services, whose roles support safety and daily operations on campus.
The announcement also carried goodwill messages from the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Okechuku Onuchuku. On behalf of the management team, he sent warm Christmas wishes and New Year greetings to the entire university community.
As the break approaches, Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) looks ahead to a smooth return of academic activities in the new year.
