Akwa Ibom State University has opened applications for its 2025–2026 part-time degree programmes. Interested candidates can apply without UTME, pay the required fees and submit forms online and at the campus office. Read further for details on courses and how to apply.

Akwa Ibom State University has announced the sale of forms for its part-time degree admission for the 2025/2026 academic session. The programmes are managed by the Centre for Continuing Education at the Obio Akpa Campus. The call is open and applications are now invited from qualified candidates.

The University has rolled out a wide list of courses under its part-time arm. These are grouped by faculty and run across sciences, arts, management and education.

Who Can Apply
- Holders of SSCE, WAEC, NECO or NABTEB qualifications.
- Applicants for the part-time programme are not required to sit for UTME.
This makes it open to working-class people or those who prefer a flexible study path.
How to Apply for AKSU Part-Time Degree Admission
The method is simple, but it requires care. Missing a step can delay the process.
- Visit the JAMB e-facility portal or the nearest JAMB State Office or any approved CBT Centre.
- Select the Part-Time Registration Link.
- Make a payment of ₦3,500 plus ₦700 bank charges through Remita.
- After payment, log on to the AKSU Centre for Continuing Education portal.
- Pay a ₦7,500 non-refundable fee.
- Fill out the form online and submit.
- Submit a hard copy of the completed form with photocopies of credentials to the Administrative Secretary, Centre for Continuing Education, Obio Akpa Campus.
