Let's be honest. Not everyone gets into university on the first try. JAMB can be a pain and for some, it's been one too many heartbreaks. But if you're still holding on to that dream of studying at Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU), there's another way.
The school's Centre for Basic Studies has opened applications for its 2025/2026 pre-degree programme. It's a 9-month course and guess what? You don't need JAMB to get in.

Who Can Apply?
Anyone with five O'level credits (including English and Maths) in no more than two sittings. The remaining three subjects must fit the course you're hoping to study. That's it.

- Pay a non-refundable ₦15,000 application fee.
- Fill the form online via the AKSU pre-degree registration link
- Or stop by in person at:
- AKSU Basic Studies Centre, Obio Akpa Campus
- GSS Unit, AKSU Main Campus, Ikot Akpaden
Once you fill the form, submit it with photocopies of your credentials to the Admissions Office at Obio Akpa Campus.
