Atiba University Academic Calendar 2024/2025 Released

Atiba University has released the academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic session. The calendar outlines key dates and events for students, staff and the university community to ensure a smooth academic year.

The calendar includes resumption dates, holidays, lectures, examinations and other important academic activities.

Resumption and Orientation

• 25–27 September 2024: Resumption for UTME/DE freshers and final-year students (3 days).
• 2–7 October 2024: Orientation programme for new students (4 days).
• 9–11 October 2024: Resumption for returning students from the end-of-session break (2 days).

First Semester Activities

• 14 October 2024 – 10 January 2025: Commencement of first semester lectures for all students (14 weeks).
• 1–15 November 2024: Course registration period for all students (2 weeks).
• 25 November – 2 December 2024: Submission of first semester examination questions (1 week).
• 12–19 December 2024: General continuous assessment tests for the first semester (1 week).
• 20 December 2024 – 5 January 2025: End-of-year break (2 weeks).
• 6–17 January 2025: First semester lectures continue (2 weeks).
• 20–24 January 2025: Lecture review week (1 week).
• 27 January – 7 February 2025: First semester examinations (2 weeks).
