Candidates seeking admission into any Higher National Diploma programme must hold the National Diploma of Auchi Polytechnic or an equivalent qualification from a similar school whose programmes have NBTE Accreditation.

The ND record must also link to JAMB.

All HND applicants must have received admission through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) during their National Diploma programme, because candidates without a JAMB admission letter and JAMB registration number for ND will not qualify for HND admission.

Such candidates may also face NYSC mobilisation issues.
