AWS, in collaboration with Udacity, aims to help underserved and underrepresented students gain essential skills for a career in technology.

What the AWS AI & ML Scholarship Offers

The AWS AI & ML Scholarship provides 2,500 Udacity nanodegree scholarships each year.

It covers the full tuition for the program and offers access to mentorship from industry professionals.

The program is designed for students of all experience levels, including those with no prior knowledge of machine learning or computer science.

You will have the chance to work on real-world projects, learn directly from experts and build foundational skills in AI.

Eligibility for the AWS AI & ML Scholarship

To apply, you must meet the following criteria:

• Be at least 16 years old.
• Identify as underserved or underrepresented in technology.
• Be currently enrolled in high school or college.
• No prior knowledge of machine learning or related fields is required.
• The program is available to students worldwide, except where prohibited by law.

How to Qualify for the AWS AI & ML Scholarship

To qualify, you must complete two key steps:

1. Complete the AWS DeepRacer Student coursework and pass all required assessments with a score of 80% or higher.
2. Achieve a minimum single lap time of less than two minutes on the AWS DeepRacer Student League leaderboard, which features a new track design each month.

These two criteria are designed to measure your understanding of AI concepts and your ability to apply them.
