The Bayelsa State College of Nursing Sciences, Tombia-Ekpetiama, invites applications for its Community Nursing and Community Midwifery programmes for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Programme Details

Community Midwifery

• Duration: 24 months (2 years)
• Eligibility: Five credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics from not more than two sittings. Candidates must be at least 17 years old.
• Start Date: March 2025

Community Nursing

• Duration: 24 months (2 years)
• Eligibility: Five credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics from not more than two sittings. Candidates must be at least 17 years old.
• Start Date: April 2025

Application Steps

Step 1: Pay the Application Fee

• Deposit the application fee into the specified account.
• Present the bank teller at the Bursary Department of the college.
• Request a receipt containing a unique number.

Step 2: Fill the Online Form

• Visit the BYSCONS Online Portal (https://byscons.edu.ng/portal/).
• Use the unique receipt number to access the application form.
• Fill in accurate details and upload scanned copies of WAEC/NECO/NABTEB results and other required documents.

Step 3: Submit the Application

• Review and submit the completed form online.
• Print the acknowledgment slip generated after submission.

Step 4: Prepare for the Entrance Examination

• Check the website or brochure for details on the examination date, time and venue.
• Bring the original acknowledgment slip to the examination venue.
