DELSU JUPEB Admission Form for 2026/2027 Academic Session

Delta State University, Abraka, has opened admission into its JUPEB Foundation Studies programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The programme runs with the Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board. Candidates who pass the approved JUPEB examination can seek admission into 200 level of DELSU degree programmes through JAMB.

What DELSU JUPEB Offers

DELSU JUPEB gives candidates a one-session foundation route into degree study.

The programme runs for one academic session of two semesters, and successful candidates will stay in the university halls of residence at Site II, Abraka. Classes hold through direct contact at the JUPEB Study Centre, Delta State University, Abraka.

Lectures run from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

DELSU JUPEB Admission Requirements

Candidates need at least five O’Level credit passes in five subjects.

The credits must include English Language and Mathematics, and the results must come from GCE, SSCE, WAEC, NECO or NABTEB at not more than two sittings. For Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Science and Pharmacy, the five O’Level credits must come from one sitting.

The listed subject combinations meet the entry rules for direct admission into DELSU degree programmes and over 70 JUPEB affiliate universities, including OAU, UNILAG, UNN, UYO, FUTA, FUNAAB, UNIPORT, FUPRE, UNICAL, LASU, FUTO, UNILORIN, UNIBEN, NDU, ESUT, ABUAD, UNIZIK, ABSU, UNIOSUN, UNIAFRICA, TASUED and MTU.

The application starts on Monday, 18 May 2026.

The closing date is Monday, 31 August 2026.

DELSU JUPEB Application Fee

The application fee is ₦20,000 only.

Candidates should generate a virtual PIN through the DELSU portal and pay through any of the listed banks.

How to Generate DELSU JUPEB Virtual PIN

Candidates should follow the portal steps below.

  1. Visit the DELSU portal.
  2. Click “Online Application”.
  3. Click “Start”.
  4. Click “JUPEB”.
  5. Click “Start”.
  6. Submit the form and generate the PIN.
  7. Print the generated PIN.
  8. Visit any of the listed banks for payment.

After payment, the candidate should complete the application form with correct details.

How to Complete the DELSU JUPEB Application Form

Candidates should visit the DELSU JUPEB application portal and follow the form instructions.

The form must include a valid email address, phone number and a recent red-background passport-sized photograph. The passport photograph must be scanned and must not be more than three months old.

Webcam photographs are not accepted.

After completing the online form, candidates should submit it and print a copy of the examination schedule.

Notes for DELSU JUPEB Applicants

Candidates must fill their bio-data correctly.

DELSU states that no complaint about wrong bio-data will be accepted after submission. Any candidate who uploads wrong bio-data will be disqualified, and the application fee will be forfeited.

Only coloured printouts will be accepted.

Candidates should print at least four copies of the DELSU online registration form, with the passport-sized photograph printed in colour. They should also follow the instructions with care and choose subject combinations that match their intended course of study.

Candidates need at least a credit at the University, OND or NCE level, with five SSCE credit passes in relevant science subjects. Three of the subjects must include English Language, Mathematics and Physics.

Environmental Sciences

A candidate who meets the normal SSCE credit requirements, including English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and one other science subject, and also holds HSC, GCE Advanced Level, IJMB, JUPEB or OND with lower credit in Building, Civil Engineering or related fields may be admitted into 200 level.

Allied Health Sciences

Candidates may apply if they possess OND in SLT, MLS, Dental Technology, Community Health Extension Workers’ qualification, or other qualifications such as Registered Nurses.

Communication and Media Studies

Candidates may apply with National Diploma in Mass Communication or Journalism from a Senate-recognised school with a minimum CGPA of 3.0.

Candidates may also apply with National Diploma and upper credit in Radio, TV/Film Production or Theatre/Performing Arts from Senate-recognised schools. A lower credit or merit pass in a relevant diploma can also apply where SSCE requirements have been met.

A minimum of four points at JUPEB in at least two relevant Arts or Social Science subjects is also listed.

Other listed options include two credit passes in relevant A’Level subjects with at least six points, two credit passes in major subjects in relevant NCE areas, two credit passes in IJMB, or a minimum of four points at JUPEB in at least two relevant Arts or Social Science subjects.

Mass Communication

Direct Entry subject combination:

DELSU lists the same requirement as the Communication and Media Studies options above.

Candidates also need a minimum of 11 points at JUPEB in relevant Arts or Social Science subjects.
