Southern Delta University, Ozoro, formerly Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro, has opened applications for the 2026/2027 undergraduate admission exercise. Suitably qualified candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination may apply for admission into the listed degree programmes.
The admission exercise covers programmes at the main campus in Ozoro and the Orerokpe campus. Direct Entry candidates may also apply if they meet the stated qualification requirement.
Who can apply for Southern Delta University Post UTME?
Candidates who participated in the 2026 UTME and scored 150 or above may apply. The candidate must also choose Southern Delta University as first choice.
Candidates who did not choose SDU during JAMB registration must complete a Change of Institution through the JAMB portal. This change should be done before admission processing.
What are the general admission requirements?
Applicants must have at least five O'Level credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics. The result may be WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or an equivalent qualification.
The credits must be obtained at no more than two sittings. Candidates awaiting O'Level results may also apply, provided the results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS before admission consideration.
What are the Direct Entry requirements?
Direct Entry candidates must possess relevant qualifications such as ND or an equivalent qualification from recognised schools. The required grade is at least Upper Credit or its equivalent.
Direct Entry applicants are also expected to meet the relevant O'Level requirement. Their qualification should support the chosen course of study.
