Edo State University Alerts Public About False Security Memo and Confirms Campus Safety

The Management of Edo State University, Iyamho is calling the attention of students, staff and the wider public to a memo moving around with the heading "Security Alert – Movement Restrictions". The message did not come from the Acting Registrar or any authorised office and it is entirely false.

There is no confirmed security threat on campus and no report of suspected bandits in the university. The story being shared is misleading and was created to spread fear. It should be ignored.
